We encourage guests to use rideshare services so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. If you plan to drive, street parking is available nearby and take a short walk to the brewery. Join us as we kick off the conference, and see you at E9 Brewery!

Wednesday Night Social: LeMay – America’s Car Museum

Join colleagues from across Washington’s parks and recreation community and Great Western Recreation for an unforgettable evening at one of Tacoma’s most iconic venues. The WRPA Wednesday Social will take place at LeMay – America’s Car Museum, where attendees can explore one of the nation’s premier automotive museums while enjoying music, great food, and plenty of opportunities to connect.
 
From 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm on April 22, guests can tour the museum’s impressive collection of historic vehicles, mingle with fellow professionals, and enjoy a full dinner and drink service accompanied by music, games, and prizes.

Transportation: Shuttles Conference shuttles will run between the conference hotel(s) and the museum throughout the evening. Shuttle schedules and pickup locations will be provided closer to the event.Come experience a night of chrome, music, and connection as we celebrate the parks and recreation professionals who keep Washington’s communities thriving.

Parking:  Free on-site parking is available at the museum. 

Public Transit: The museum is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Tacoma Dome Station, a major regional transit hub served by Amtrak, Sounder commuter rail, light rail, and multiple bus routes.

Thursday Night Social: Whisky, Boots & Big Ideas

Dress Code (optional but encouraged): Western casual—boots, denim, flannel, hats, or your favoriteurban cowboy look. No boots? No problem. Comfort counts.
